Michael made us breakfast and then watched George for a couple hours in the morning while I took a little "me" time. I decided it was time to try out a hot yoga class. It's something I've been wanting to try for a while and since my regular gym doesn't offer Sunday workout classes, I figured what better time to try something new. I really wasn't sure what to expect given I've never even tried regular yoga, but I enjoyed the class and will definitely go again.
When I got back from yoga, we took George up to see Michael's mom (Barbie) and give her a Mother's Day gift. He decided it was a good time for a nap and stayed with Barbie for a couple hours while I went for a bike ride and Michael went to help his dad with some errands on our new property (I'll share more on our new property in a future post!).
Once we were all back home, Michael grilled us steaks and potatoes for dinner. It was so good! George was sure to give me some extra nighttime snuggles, too. It was the best Mother's Day I could have asked for. I'm feeling pretty blessed with this little family of mine.
Sincerely,
Emily Ann
P.S. I got a really cute Kate Spade purse and chocolates from my boys, too! Dad thought it was funny that the purse was big enough to fit George. I don't think George found it as entertaining. :)
