At the beginning of 2015, I told myself that I wanted a year of adventures. Prior to this year, my last vacation was in 2010 (college spring break!), and I knew it was time to invest in life experiences and explore new places. I may have gone a little overboard with my wanderlust, but I wouldn't have had it any other way. 2015 was an amazing year! Here is a brief overview of my big adventures from this year:
- Denver
- A few friends and I took a completely random and spur of the moment trip to Denver in April. Even though it rained on us almost the whole time we were there, we had a great time hiking in the Rocky Mountains and exploring the city of Denver.
- Mexico
- Two of my girlfriends and I had been looking forward to this all-inclusive trip for months. In an unfortunate turn of events, Jess misplaced her passport and wasn't able to attend. However, Erika and I still made the most of our adventure. We had a blast lounging on the beach, snorkeling, hammocking, and meeting new people. I am eager to get another girls' trip planned for 2016!
- Georgia/South Carolina
- My family and I traveled south to visit with my Aunts and Uncles in Georgia and South Carolina. This was the first family vacation we had taken in several years and I loved every second of it! Highlights included lounging by the pool, riding the Harley from GA to SC with Dad, and lots of nephew loving!
- Washington D.C.
- My cousin moved to D.C. earlier this year, and I had been itching to find some time to go and visit her. I finally convinced my sister to tag along for a girls' trip. We had the best time exploring the city and doing some much needed catching up!
Sincerely,
Emily Ann
